When you're getting close already, but you know yourselves well enough to be cautious, so the response is silence and distance. Faceless interactions, emoticons. You believe there is tension, and there is, but is it only you? You feel she'll be up for what you have to offer, but issues of friendship and risk come up. Not important ones, though. One which should be answered first is whether or not friendship is sacred enough to hide from risk (and why do we treat it so delicately). Another is whether or not all risk is reckless. A third is whether or not the point of risk is the result, or the risking.
